BILLINGS, Mont. - The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and project partner L&J Construction have paused construction for the winter on the Thomas Dolan Bridge located south of Billings.
This year, crews resurfaced the bridge deck, replaced bridge and pedestrian rail, smoothed the bridge approaches, and upgraded
guardrail. They will return in 2025 to complete shared-use path connections and seal the bridge deck. Information will be provided as
it becomes available.
The South Billings Boulevard - Bridge Rehabilitation project enhanced roadway safety features, improved pedestrian accessibility, and will extend the service life of the bridge.
