WOLF POINT, Mont. — The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is announcing and inviting the public to comment on a proposal that will resurface about 5 miles of Montana Highway 25 (MT 25), southeast of Wolf Point. The project begins at 4th Avenue SE in Wolf Point, and extends southeast, ending near the intersection with Montana Highway 13 (MT 13).
Proposed work includes crack filling, a seal and cover (chip seal), and upgraded pavement markings. The purpose of the project is to extend the life of the existing pavement and reduce maintenance costs.
Construction is tentatively planned for 2027 depending on completion of design and availability of funds. No new right-of-way or utility relocations will be needed.
Partnering with the community is an important part of properly planning for future projects. MDT welcomes the public to provide ideas and comments on the proposed project. Comments may be submitted online at mdt.mt.gov/contact/comment-form.aspx or in writing to Montana Department of Transportation, Glendive office, PO Box 890, Glendive, MT 59330-0890. Please note that comments are for project UPN 10673000.
The public is encouraged to contact Glendive District Project Development Engineer Jim Frank at 406-345-8214 or Project Design Engineer Joy Fleming at 406-345-8221 with questions or comments about the project.
