BILLINGS, Mont. — The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is announcing and inviting the public to comment on a proposal that will resurface about 3 miles of Shiloh Road. The project will begin at the intersection with King Avenue and extend north, ending near Rimrock Road.

Proposed work includes milling the existing surfacing in the roundabouts and between Poly Drive and Rimrock Road, applying a new overlay to the milled areas, applying a seal and cover (chip seal) to areas outside of the roundabouts, as well as upgraded pavement markings and signage. The purpose of the project is to extend the service life of the existing pavement.

Construction is tentatively planned for 2027 depending on completion of design and availability of funds. No new right-of-way or utility relocations will be needed.

The public is encouraged to contact the Project Design Engineer Jacob Brotzler at 406-657-0266 or the Billings District Project Development Engineer Kurtis Schnieber at 406-657-0269 with questions or comments about the project.
