BILLINGS, Mont. - The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) has published the Corridor Study Report and Access Management Plan documents for the Montana 3 Billings Corridor Study. MDT wishes to thank the public and stakeholders for their participation in the planning process.

The Corridor Study Report provides a comprehensive long-range plan for managing the corridor and identifies improvement options based on needs, public and agency input, and financial feasibility. The Access Management Plan provides guidance for the management of access points and spacing along MT 3 as development, redevelopment, and construction projects occur over time.

The study began in January 2025, and the final versions were completed in March 2026, following the public review period.
