CLINTON, Mont. — The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is announcing and inviting the public to comment on a proposal that will add curve warning signs along two sections of Rock Creek Road. Work will occur between mile markers 0.0 and 11.5 and mile markers 35 and 49.

This project will enhance roadway safety features by adding curve warning signs to address road departure crashes.

Construction is tentatively planned beyond MDT's 5-year planning horizon, but has the potential to begin earlier depending on completion of design and availability of funds.

Partnering with the community is an important part of properly planning for future projects. MDT welcomes the public to provide ideas and comments on the proposed project. Comments may be submitted online at mdt.mt.gov/contact/comment-form.aspx or in writing to Montana Department of Transportation, Missoula office, PO Box 7039, Missoula, MT 59807-7039. Please note that comments are for project UPN 10394000.

The public is encouraged to contact Missoula District Project Development Engineer Joel Boucher at 406-544-5802 or Project Design Engineer Dan Cunningham at 406-444-7620 with questions or comments about the project.
