Bozeman, Mont. — The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT), along with construction partner JTL Group, Inc., will resurface a section of Frontage Road in Bozeman beginning on June 15. The project will help to extend the service life of the existing roadway from east of Springhill Road, ending just past the Cherry River Fishing Access at the Frontage Road railroad overpass.

Crews will be milling the existing roadway surface, applying a new overlay, finishing with a seal and cover (chip seal), and restriping. Work is expected to be completed by June 25, weather and other unforeseen factors permitting.

During the project, motorists should expect single-lane traffic with delays during daylight hours. Please seek alternate routes when possible. For the most up-to-date information regarding road conditions, visit MDT 511 Travel Info.

The public is encouraged to contact MDT at 406-556-4700 or mdtprojectpi@mt.gov with any questions or comments.
