HELENA, Mont. — As traffic safety partners across Montana are preparing to meet in July, roadway fatalities continue to be a primary concern. In 2024, 206 people died on Montana roads, and Vision Zero – zero deaths and zero serious injuries on Montana roadways – remains the goal. Statewide Vision Zero trends will be shared at the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) virtual meeting scheduled for Wednesday, July 15, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. For meeting information, please contact CHSP Manager Pam Langve-Davis at plangvedavis@mt.gov.
The agenda for Wednesday’s meeting includes:

- Statewide Impaired Driving Work Plan Overview

The CHSP ELT is made up of State of Montana agency directors and organization leaders who have a role in highway safety. The invitation to participate on the ELT includes the Office of Indian Affairs, Attorney General’s Office, Transportation, Health and Human Services, Highway Patrol, 13th Judicial Court, Corrections, Office of Public Instruction, Revenue, Labor and Industry, Office of the State Public Defender, Court Administrator’s Office, and the Board of Crime Control, Montana Association Chiefs of Police, Montana Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association, Montana League of Cities and Towns, Montana Association of Counties, Montana County Attorney Association, and Montana Tavern Association.
The ELT will continue to meet to discuss coordination of efforts and resources to save lives and prevent life changing injuries.
